Inspired by the Disney Fairies franchise, I wanted to create something that I would have loved to see myself as a kid!
I love magical fantasy settings, so I decided to put a little twist on the genre by introducing my own culture into the mix
It was a lot of work creating these characters, as I decided to use flowers and plants indigenous to Mexico, to make it a little more "realistic"
These fairies use their surrounding materials in order to create outfits and objects, so it makes sense for everything on them to be indigenous to the area
