While Cafe Kacao has received many accolades for its delish food and great service, it can be a bit overwhelming to newcomers. The food is great, but to someone new to latin food and culture, it could be a bit confusing. Before this year, Kacao just had a regular menu, just a few pictures of the items here and there. However now, Kacao features a menu with images, in order to help people get a better idea of the food!
First we needed some dividers, so people know where they're looking at!
At first we tried adding some of Kacao's signature flowers and fruit icons, however they proved to be a bit too much, as we wanted the main focus to be on the food!
there were about 35 items that I had to do in total. This project probably took the longest, as it was a bit frustrating having to go back and copy and paste descriptions. However, we love how it came out. There were a couple images that didn't have the same background, so for those I had to go back and photoshop them, so everything matched!
Another thing Kacao really needed was a Kid's Menu! Like many other restaurants, we thought it'd be a great idea to have the kid's menu also be a coloring page. So I was tasked with drawing and creating two different versions! (More to come!)
