Guatemaltecos en Oklahoma is a nonprofit organization that focuses on empowering the voices of Guatemalans in Oklahoma! They organize cultural events, fundraisers and celebrate the wins of their fellow Latinos.
One of the many events they organize include a pageant aimed at helping raise money for those who need it. They asked me to design the poster for the crowning of the winners, an even that would be host by the organization as well as by Ivana Batchelor, who holds the title of Miss Universe Guatemala 2022.
We went through many different versions of both posters, the biggest challenge being having to fit all the sponsors for the event on the poster. So many different logos, styles, and shapes, but thankfully we came to a final design that we all loved.
